Owner
Originally from New Jersey, Bryan fell in love with Savannah during summer visits in high school and made it his permanent home in 2002. He was introduced to the stone industry in 2003 and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the craftsmanship behind every project. Passionate about learning the trade, Bryan traveled to Atlanta for in-depth training and gained hands-on experience in all areas, templating, fabrication, and installation.
With a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a strong understanding of the trade market, Bryan brings both technical skill and strategic insight to his role. As owner of Low Country Granite, and brother-in-law to his business partner, Nick Havlin, Bryan plays a pivotal role in the company’s financial strategy and long-term vision.
Outside of work, Bryan enjoys spending time with his wife Gaby, whom he met after moving to Savannah. They’ve been married for 23 years and love traveling, raising their two teenage sons, and hanging out with their Boston Terriers, Carson and Bella. Bryan is passionate about boating, especially trips to Daufuskie Island, and is an active member of Compassion Christian Church.

Managing Director
Originally from Argentina, Ellie moved to the United States in 2006 and brings over 20 years of hands-on management experience across a variety of industries, including food service, retail, logistics, design, and stonework. Her background has given her a practical, adaptable approach to leading teams and finding simple, effective solutions.
At Low Country Granite, Ellie helps keep things moving, from production logistics to client communication and team support. She enjoys being involved in many parts of the business and values collaboration, problem-solving, and clear communication.
Ellie is married to co-owner Nick Havlin and is the sister of Gaby Hickman, making Low Country Granite a true family business. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, but also values time alone to recharge. She has a passion for all things design, from curated interiors to everyday style, and loves sharing her creativity to help others find beautiful and functional solutions.

Director of Accounting
Originally from Argentina, Gaby brings over 20 years of accounting experience in financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency. Her career has spanned multiple industries, where she’s been recognized for her sharp analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering integrity.
With a deep understanding of both day-to-day operations and long-term strategy, Gaby helps drive smart financial decisions that support the company’s growth and stability. Her steady leadership and collaborative mindset make her an invaluable part of the team behind the scenes.
Gaby is the sister of Ellie Havlin and the wife of co-owner Bryan Hickman. Together, they have two teenage boys, Noah and Zach, and two Boston Terriers, Carson and Bella. Outside of work, Gaby enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and staying active with her daily workout routine at Pure Barre.

Office Assistant
Karen is a retired Registered Nurse with 37 years of experience in healthcare, where she was known for her attention to detail, compassion, and calm under pressure, qualities she now brings to her role as Office Assistant at Low Country Granite. Originally from the Illinois/Wisconsin area, Karen relocated to Savannah ten years ago to be closer to her sister, Kim Waters, and quickly fell in love with the Lowcountry lifestyle.
At Low Country Granite, Karen helps keep the office running smoothly with her friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and a quiet dedication to supporting both the team and customers. Her background in nursing gives her a natural ability to handle fast-paced environments and communicate with kindness and clarity, making her a valued presence behind the scenes.
Karen has one son, Pete, and outside of work she enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and spending quality time with family. Whether managing office tasks or sharing a smile with showroom visitors, Karen is an important part of the welcoming spirit that defines Low Country Granite.

Director of Sales & Marketing
Originally from the far northern suburbs of Chicago, Kim Waters brings more than 19 years of sales and design experience to Low Country Granite. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from Carthage College, working in visual merchandising for Fortune 500 companies such as Frito-Lay and Harley-Davidson. Kim is passionate about learning exactly what clients see in the future for their home or workspace. Mindful of client budgets, builder schedules, and vendor relations, Kim strives to make each design experience personal and positive for each client. In fact, she’s maintained client relationships that have lasted the length of her career.
When Kim is not working with her valued clients to create beautiful living spaces, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, Greg, and their daughter Jenna. She has a passion for anything and everything outdoors, especially boating on the beautiful waters of the Lowcountry.

Originally from Daytona, Nick has been immersed in the stone industry since 2003, where a deep passion for craftsmanship led him to master every step, from fabrication and templating to installation and project management. Known for his hands-on approach, Nick values quality over shortcuts and remains actively involved in production. His expertise allows him to bridge the gap between technical precision and client vision, ensuring each project is both structurally sound and visually stunning.
As owner of Low Country Granite, Nick is a driving force behind the company’s innovation and growth. From managing custom requests to developing advanced fabrication techniques, his leadership is rooted in integrity, hard work, and a deep understanding of the trade.
Nick founded Low Country Granite alongside Bryan Hickman, a close friend and brother-in-law who first introduced him to the industry. Together, they’ve built a trusted name in the region, known for craftsmanship, reliability, and a genuine commitment to excellence.
At home, Nick shares life with his wife Ellie, whom he married in 2007. She’s not only his partner but also a constant source of support and inspiration. Their household is full of energy thanks to their three dogs: Tango and Libby (both Dogo Argentinos) and Logan, a loyal Boxer mix.

With a natural passion for people and design, Shanna brings enthusiasm, creativity, and dedication to every project. Originally from Guam, she moved to the United States when she was just three years old, carrying with her a deep appreciation for culture and community.
At Low Country Granite, Shanna supports customers throughout the selection process, offering helpful guidance and personalized service every step of the way. Her goal is to ensure each client not only finds the perfect stone but also genuinely enjoys the experience. She’s known for her positive energy and ability to make every customer feel right at home.
When she’s not in the showroom, you’ll likely find Shanna spending time with her family and her two adorable boys, soaking up the sun on the water or digging into one of her favorite hobbies, gardening. Whether helping a client build their dream kitchen or nurturing a new plant, Shanna always leads with care, heart, and a touch of creativity.

Among them are Claudio Dominguez, José Carlis, Luke Havlin, and Correy Havlin — yes, two more family members helping carry the torch. All four have been with us since 2010, and their loyalty, experience, and attention to detail are part of what makes our work truly stand out.
